“We are very excited to have the opportunity to be partnering with the Tulsa 66ers who are a part of the NBA Development League here in Tulsa,” says Matt Payne.

Through this partnership, teachers and school staff will be equipped with an incentive program to help encourage good character in schools. After each Character Connex assembly, teachers will be on the lookout for kids who are exhibiting good character. Once spotted, the kids’ names will go into a drawing for tickets and T-shirts to a 66ers game. The drawing will take place at the next Character Connex assembly.

Matt added, “I truly believe that because of this partnership, we will begin to see kids demonstrating good character not only during our assemblies, but long after the assembly is over.”
